So... circumcision may reduce the incidence of HIV in Africa, but articles like this totally ignore the fact that the practice has so many downsides. I wish articles like this would still ask the question, is it worth it?

They also fail to point out that the studies researched adult circumcision. If adult men want to get themselves circumcised, so be it. It's silly and dangerous, but it's their choice. But children should not be circumcised to prevent HIV.
